We wish to advise our customers that the Rocklands building is still functioning as normal as the proposed start date for the building works still hasn’t been announced.

Therefore to protect our owners of holiday apartments 25, 28 and 33 we have opened up these apartments and we have started taking bookings for the 2024 season. It is our intention to try and see through the main months of May to September but if work commences and it affects the guest stay in any way we will refund all monies back to our customers accordingly.

This is our third holiday at 31 Rocklands. It really is a great place to stay. Lovely and spacious, clean and the best location. Secure underground parking Is a big bonus. And what can we say about the view from the balcony, absolutely breathtaking! We will definitely return.

Amazing uninterrupted views of Tolcarne Beach, and surrounding areas. The roof terrace is a must too. Rocklands is the best place to stay in Newquay. There is a bus stop almost outside with buses to Padstow, Truro, and many other places. We had the best holiday. Thank you.

Great apartment near Tolcarne beach so clean and very modern with parking. The view from the apartment was amazing I could have sat on the balcony all day and listened to the sound of the waves. The sunset from the rooftop terrace above the apartment was phenomenal.

What's The Building Like?

Rocklands Newquay is a complex of 38 contemporary apartments. The building comprises a west and east wing over six floors with a lift, basement parking, wetsuit and surfboard lockers and a rooftop terrace. Pizza Express Newquay is on the ground floor of the building.

Will It Be Noisy?

Rocklands is situated on the outskirts of Newquay town centre and whilst there is noise in the bustling summer months, it’s a lot quieter than many other parts of the resort. Enjoy the sound of crashing waves and the call of seagulls at this seaside setting.

What If I Have A Problem While On Holiday?

You will be given a contact number for your property manager who will be able to manage your enquiries.

What Amenities are Nearby?

Aldi and Asda supermarkets, Newquay Railway Station and a great selection of pubs and restaurants are all within a five minute walk from Rocklands. There is also a small licensed convenience shop directly across the road.

Is There Parking?

For apartments 25, 28 and 33 there’s allocated parking in the secure basement car park.

 

Do The Apartments Have Internet Access?

All of the apartments have free wireless internet (WiFi) access available on a dedicated broadband connection. You can find details on how to connect in the information folder in your apartment.

Is Rocklands Pet Friendly?

Unfortunately, the Rocklands building is not pet friendly, however assistance dogs are permitted on a case by case basis.

Is Smoking And Vaping Permitted?

Smoking and/or vaping is prohibited at Rocklands Apartments. This includes, but is not limited to, the balconies, roof terrace and basement.

Can I Have A BBQ On My Balcony?

For safety reasons, BBQ’s of any kind are prohibited at Rocklands Apartments. This includes, but is not limited to, the apartment balconies, terraces or roof terrace. (This contravenes fire safety precautions, so when it comes to food – keep an eye on Newquay’s amazing local restaurants who offer sensational, seasonal food year round – if you’d like to browse our favourites, check out our blog post here.
